Today is a hot one - Upwards of 88 degrees. Mom and Dad decided to talk a walk at Todds Beach in Greenwich and happened upon 2 Adirondack chairs. They sat. Soon after they settled in, a family of 4 came to the same spot they were in to take photos. Their daughter had just graduated from Greenwich High School. They were in great spirits and as my mom puts it, "an adorable family". In typical Dad fashion, he started up a conversation - found out that they lived in Greenwich, the father is 47 - and of course, "oh.. my son in laws are around that age - do you know them?" Believe it or not, he does this a lot... Yet this time, after saying Adam Comora the guy says "Yes, I know Hillary - i have her number in my phone' and he proceeded to read out my number to my dad. His Wife was shocked confused and he jokingly then said 'Of course i know her, she's my girlfriend and that means you must be her dad, Steven Hoffenberg" He then proceeded to start crying and introduced himself. He was Kory Wollins, owner of Burger Shakes and Fries of Greenwich. He was one of my 'go to' restaurants to send food over to Greenwich Hospital while dad was there. He always texted me to check in on dad, even on days when he wasn't sending food over. He followed Dads journey and once he found out that it was dad he cried, his wife cried, his daughter cried and Dad cried. No Hugs - but they were for sure tears of happiness....

Also today - great news - Hemoglobin is up to 12…
